2002 Northwest Washington Open

Tournament cribbage returns to the Puget Sound!

Join Cribbage Forum's Michael Schell at the inaugural Northwest Washington Open, to be held Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14, 2002 at Everett Eagles in Everett, Washington. If you live in the region or are planning a visit, you are encouraged to come, even if you are new to tournament cribbage.

Highlights

  • This tournament is sanctioned by the American Cribbage Congress. The top 25% of finishers in the Main Event and Consolation will receive Master Rating Points. ACC tournament rules and guidelines will be in effect
  • Nineteen trophy boards will be awarded (in addition to cash prizes)
  • All Q-pools graduated 1-6
  • All cancellations will be refunded. Please enter early and save $5 on your Main Event entry fee
  • Main Event entry fee includes $7 for Saturday lunch, $3 for Eagles charities and a $1.50 ACC sanctioning fee, with the remainder going to the prize fund

entry fee: $65 ($75 for non-ACC members) with $10 Q-pool
$5 discount for pre-registering
9:00 am Main Event qualifying round
22 games vs. 22 opponents
6:00 PM if necessary to reduce playoff bracket to 32:
Main Event playoffs, First Round (best three of five games per match, single elimination)
7:00 PM Saturday Night Special
9 games, high scorecard wins
entry fee: $20 with $10 Q-pool
Sunday, July 14
8:00 am Main Event playoffs continue (best three of five games per match, single elimination)
9:30 am Consolation qualifying round
9 games, top ¼ advance to playoffs
entry fee: $25 with $10 Q-pool
TBA Consolation playoffs (best two of three games per match, single elimination)

Driving directions:

  • From Interstate 5 northbound, take Exit 192 and proceed north on Broadway. Everett Eagles is on the left (west) side of the street, three blocks north of the exit, just past Memorial Stadium
  • From Interstate 5 southbound, take Exit 194 and turn right (west) on Everett Avenue. After ½ mile, turn left (south) on Broadway and proceed ½ mile to Everett Eagles, on the right (west) side of the street
